Triopetra

This beach is located outside of Rethymnon, near the village of Akoumia. Its name is due to the three rocks, that contribute to making the landscape even more impressive. It is characterized by the fact that it is well hidden by rocks. There are two beaches, which are separated by a small peninsula. On the southeast side of the rocks is the small Triopetra, which has sand. South of the beach there is a small harbor and a little further on the Akoumianos river estuary, which separates Triopetra from the unique Sand Dunes of Agios Pavlos.
